Yes, I am THAT Yamato/Matt in a Gabumon hoodie :) Gabumon Plays Guitar by Michalv

I take commissions. Image reference or text, it doesn't matter. You pay for shipping. SEND ME A NOTE if you are interested. I DON'T DISCUSS COST IN COMMENTS, cost depends on what you want. All orders must be paid to me through paypal beforehand.

Hats start at $15, but ones with long ears (like Terriermon) are $25, Extra!long ears are $30. I take requests!

As far as hoodies go you can either get a modified hoodie or one from scratch.

Scratch Pros- Generally look better, more can be done with them, I always have access to the materials.
Scratch Cons- More expensive (Start at $70)

Modified Pros- Cheaper (start at about $40, and usually don't go over $70)
Modified Cons- Less can be done with them, and it may take a while to/ may not be able to find the right color base hoodie at the right price, added pieces won't match exactly, (but won't look bad).

Hoodies from Scratch (NOT MODIFIED HOODIES) also have the option of custom measurements (instead of just general mens/unisex hoodie size) to ensure fit.
General outline for measurements I'd need are;
Chest circumference (as loose as you want the hoodie)
Top shirt seam to how long you want the hoodie
Butt circumference (if hoodie goes down that far)
Bicep (as loose as you want the sleeve there)
Top shoulder seam to where sleeve ends

Products are machine wash cold, gentle cycle, but do NOT put them in the dryer or they will pill.

$10 hoodie shipping anywhere in US, $20shipping to canada. overseas is +$25 for hoodies, +$10 for hats.

Again, I DON'T discuss prices in comments, please send me a NOTE. (sorry for all the caps, but I want some people to pay attention) I do NOT REUFUND if you send me the wrong sizing either.

Ask the experimenters why they experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are like us." Ask the experimenters why it is morally okay to experiment on animals, and the answer is: "Because the animals are not like us." Animal experimentation rests on a logical contradiction. ~Charles R. Because everyone seems to be doing it XD Happy birthday DA.

Well, I've been stalking this site ever since I can remember, and with DA being 14 years old, I would have only been 6 when It started, so that sounds about right. After years of creepin on the site with my dad's computer I finally decided to make an account and 'showcase' my art. This would have been about in 2009 and I was using a big, slow, Windows XP. I've always done a wide variety of arts, drawing, sculpture, sewing, and I didn't really know what I was going to showcase, so I took pictures and uploaded a bit of it all. I knew nothing of taking good photos in general and I didn't know a way of editing or cleaning up my photos in the slightest, so everything was uploaded 'raw' or edited with MSpaint or whatever basic program came with my scanner.

My first hoodie! With bad photos and editing! Yay~ Toothless Hoodie by SethImmortal

I still didn't know exactly what I wanted to do with my DA, it seemed like most artists had one or two things they did REALLY well, and I had a gallery with a wide variety of mediocre stuff.

I became a hoodie maker almost completely on accident. I made a toothless hoodie for a friend, a gomamon hoodie for myself, and then made a gabumon hoodie to go with my Matt cosplay and keep me warm at chilly Youmacon 2011. I was NOT expecting the reaction I got as Gabumon. People were taking so many pictures of me and asking if I did comissions, and if I had a DA where they could see more of my stuff. I've been cosplaying since 2007, went to several conventions prior to this, and have been steadily improving the quality of my cosplay..... but I'd never gotten attention like this. I went home and uploaded pictures of the three hoodies i'd made, and one i'd painted, and the response was PHENOMENAL. There were very few hoodie makers besides :iconcalgarycosplay: here on DA back then, and nobody made anything digimon (a fact that saddened me and I made my mission to change). The commissions I get challenge my ingenuity, creativity stuff, and I get to meet a lot of you awesome guys that way :D

I moved on to begin taking hoodie commissions here on dA to an almost exclusively Digimon audience and things digivolved from there :D (though I think I might be regressing a level or something, because people keep asking if I still take commissions, think i'm dead or something  )

Also around this time I also got my own computer, photo editing program, and roped a friend into being my photographer. Digimon: Hello by SethImmortal I knew almost nothing about posing, editing, or cosplay makeup, and she knew very minimal about photography, lighting, ect.
We went on to do several photoshoots until her mom or my mom complained I was a bad influence and made her stop taking pictures (because obviously costumed photos uploaded to the internet= PORN

From there I went on to get stamp happy and gradient happy while editing photos, looking to help people identify my series give the photo that extra 'POP'

LOVELESS: Words by SethImmortal

I learned to not upload every photo from the set, carefully pick and choose a few so you only have the best and they don't all look the same. I learned about posing, and makeup, and that there is a time and a place to edit the crap out of your pics, and a time not to. I learned partially from watching and observing other wonderful people here on dA, I love that artists will for the most part give eachother honest tips and feedback :)

As well as learning many different techniques to improve the quality of my cosplay over the years (Thank you trial and error and DEVIANTART tutorials :D ), I MANAGED TO FINISH MY DREAM COSPLAY :boogie: Kaworu~Kun~
Kaworu Nagisa Shutocon 2014 by SethImmortal
YOUR PHOTOGRAPHER IS EVERYTHING. This is not something I learned from DA, but I am sharing that information with you now! Without good composition and lighting, it doesn't matter how well you pose or how wonderful your cosplay is, you won't have good pictures of it. Photography is an ART, So shoutout from all the cosplayers to the photographers that make us look awesome, because we'd be lost without you.

I still feel my cosplay is missing a certain something but I don't know what it is... they don't have the shine to them like many cosplayers I admire do. I believe getting that shine may lie in using a nice camera and having more equipment to control the light with. Also better modeling on my part. (There are wonderful photography and cosplay photography tutorials here on DA)

I also feel not handling my my DA as EITHER Just hoodies OR just Cosplay puts some people off, but i'm too lazy to keep track of two of these things XD

DA has helped me expand and grow as an artist by having all these beautiful artists inspire me to become better. Thank you DA, I wish you many more years even if you are dying in favor of Tumblr I shall not leave you little green Fella

If I end up spamming you with favorites and comments, I do apologize, and I will go away if you want, but you are AMAZING. I truly admire your handiwork and skill with design and the execution of that design. I can sew a button to a shirt, and that's about it. Nor can I think three dimensionally. Nor do I have the courage to cosplay. That being said, ..... OH MY GOSH I FREAKING LOVE YOU! XD

Nahhhh, das fine. :lmao: I don't mind. Thank you.

I used to be a pretty shy person before I started to cosplay, but being behind a costume helped me be more bold and express myself

Hi, Thanks for your kind comments and favorites on the Raiden costume I made for my girlfriend! I answered your question on the construction of the costume, hope they help you get a better idea of how some parts of it were done. I also took a look of your gallery and found you to be a great and talented cosplayer yourself! Also worthy of special mention is your crossplay of Panty, that was really pretty! You are such a beautiful boy^_^. Gave you a llama as my humble gratitude!

If you enjoy my cosplay works too, please feel free to watch me here on the da and/or facebook for the latest updates.

Thank you so much for your support!
